“Nearly everything we are taught is false except how to read”
~ Jim Harrison from Songs of Unreason
Everyone is welcome to join us in the challenge! Let the quote above inspire you to write, post & credit Harrison, pingback or link back here in the comments. Then give yourself a wonderful treat and read what other unreasonable poets have written. Enjoy!

Disagree completely, but I’ll see what it inspires 🙂

Struggled a bit. Two false starts. Went Basho. When in doubt, Haiku! https://lifeinportofino.wordpress.com/2018/06/11/haiku-short-story/

Aaargh! I’m stuck! I’ll see what my muse comes up with. I think it ‘cos I don’t agree.
I’m at work anyway, so shall return later. I hope you all had a good weekend?

This has been a tough prompt, perhaps because we want to go with the literal.

Jilly, I believe what you said about the literal is correct which is why I’m stuck at the moment! Thank you for that I will seek to go beyond the literal!

My philosophy on the 28 Days of Unreason is that the quote is just a trigger point. Does it take your muse in some direction? In any direction? Does it cause you to write something that seems unrelated? Does it cause you write…period. ? Then write! Yay, poetry!

Interesting quote. It’s exam time at the moment, so I don’t want that splashed all over the place.
