The Violent Wind

The violent wind

Sandstone scrubs dying cocoons

Midwifing angry veils of

Cloud to ground lightning

Rumble strip fists of glory

Precipitous leaves

Bullied turn a dull

Face harboring freshly labored

Wings of tempest

Tempting providence

To leap into the welling

Gale be born anew

A nice turn of phrase that reads reality into the scene — the wind as midwife to all chaos works for me!
